✏2nd & 3rd Grade Home-School Connections for the week of January 4
Are you screening your child EVERY morning? If your child has a fever or is displaying any COVID-19 symptoms, he/she should not come to school.
**A few reminders as we get ready to welcome back students for the second semester....
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last ten days OR have been in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 individual, please DO NOT return to school. Please first contact Dr. Porter at dporter@carthageisd.org or Amanda Deason at adeason@carthageisd.org. We will then let you know your return date.
Please continue to monitor yourself for symptoms and DO NOT come to school if you have any of the following:
Feeling feverish or have a temperature of 100.00 degrees or higher
Loss of taste or smell
Coughing
Difficulty breathing/shortness of breath
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
Significant muscle pain or ache
Congestion or runny nose
Sore throat
Headache
Fatigue
Chills
Shaking or exaggerated shivering
All staff and students should continue to prescreen EACH day before coming to school and remain off campus if they are experiencing any of the symptoms listed above.

❤️The “Warm Hearts” project, led by Libby Elementary GT students, was a success!❤️
This school-wide effort resulted in the collection of over 800 pairs of socks and gloves that will be distributed to the elderly residents of the nursing homes in our community!
