Libby Elementary would like to recognize October’s Star Students!
Matthew Razo - Gallardo is a third-grader and the son of Adan Razo and Janeth Gallardo. Matthew’s favorite school subject is Math. During his free time, he enjoys playing soccer.
Barrett Faulkner is a second-grader and the son of Barry and Hollie Kay Faulkner. His favorite school subjects are Reading and Science. Barrett’s hobbies include karate, hunting, and playing with toys.
Isaac Mireles is a second-grader and the son of Carlos and Yanet Mireles. His favorite school subject is Math. Isaac’s hobbies include playing basketball, football, and dodgeball. He also enjoys watching movies, riding four-wheelers, building fires with his dad, and fixing things with his grandpa.
Landry Williams is a second-grader and the daughter of Tyler and Brianne Williams. Her favorite school subject is Science. Landry’s hobbies include working cows with her daddy, riding horses, and playing with her dog. She also enjoys riding her buggy, roping, and going to church.
Emory Williams is a second-grader and the daughter of Tyler and Brianne Williams. Her favorite school subject is Reading. Landry’s hobbies include riding horses, playing with cousins and family, going to church, and working with cows. She also enjoys playing with her dog and riding her little ranger.
Melina Hernandez is a second-grader and the daughter of Gonzalo and Maria Hernandez. Her favorite school subject is Reading. Melina’s hobbies include drawing, swimming, playing soccer with her siblings, and watching tv.
Raley Roquemore is a second-grader and the daughter of James Roquemore and Brenda Flores. Her favorite school subject is Math. Raley’s hobbies include ballet and playing Roblox.
Jasper Hill is a third-grader and the son of Jerrett and Amberle Hill. Her favorite school subject is Reading. Jasper’s hobbies include Soccer, karate, video games, golf, and swimming. He also enjoys riding his dirtbike and golf cart, playing with friends, and going to Awanas.
Maya Swider is a third-grader and the daughter of Brandon Swider. Her favorite school subject is Reading. Maya’s hobbies include singing and playing dodgeball.
Weston Wetteland is a third-grader and the son of Lance and Holly Lewis. His favorite school subject is History. Weston’s hobbies include Junior Bull Riding, playing video games, and playing outside.

Report card reminder!
Libby's 2nd-grade math team is teaching their students the Libby Way! Thank you, Brenda Buckner, Hannah Liles, Elizabeth Lovil, and Rachel Penner for going the extra mile to keep our Libby 2nd graders engaged, motivated, and encouraged! A special shout-out to Mrs. Stacy and Ms. Hernandez for all of their help!

-Nancy Domingez at Libby is working very hard to ensure all of our UIL Students and Coaches have everything they need to succeed this year!
-Nikki Rocquemore is an excellent teacher who realizes the balance of high expectations for students and a loving relationship with them. Her students love her and are great mathematicians in her classroom. She is cheerful and has a positive attitude toward her students and her co-workers.
-Libby's 3rd-grade math team knows the way, the Libby Way! Thank you, Randi Brady, Karen Caver, Shalondra Rocquemore, Gay Rittenberry, and Brooke Lipsey for going the extra mile to keep our Libby 3rd-graders motivated, encouraged, and engaged!

Libby Elementary will be hosting a pumpkin decorating contest beginning next week! All entries MUST be at Libby no later than 12:00 NOON on Wednesday, October 26th.
Pennies for Polio ends next week!
We are raffling 5 car passes that will allow 5 lucky families to skip the car rider line each morning and afternoon! All proceeds will go toward supporting students and staff at Libby Elementary School!
-Libby AP Lee Berry is focused on ensuring that kids make it to school. From reaching out to parents to keeping track of Saturday School, he is trying hard to express the importance of attendance to our students and their parents.
-No matter what happens in the office at Libby, Jessica Moore handles it like a pro. Jessica is amazing when it comes to solving problems and making sure all things run smoothly on campus.
-Courtney Parks is an awesome Libby paraprofessional who does anything she is asked and is a huge help to every student she works with.
-Kirbie Munden is an amazing Libby teacher who builds relationships with her students and makes learning fun!
