January Star Students

Libby Elementary would like to recognize September’s Star Students! The students were chosen using the following criteria: attitude (the student tries to contribute to a positive atmosphere), accomplishments (the student is dedicated to achieving a personal goal), commitment (the student always tries his or her best to succeed), character (the student always presents himself/herself as a positive role model), effort (the student shares in the responsibility for making school a positive place), enthusiasm (the student is always supportive of others striving for success) and excellence (the student accepts no less).

January’s Star students include:

Aniyah Brown, who is a second-grader and the daughter of Patrick Brown and Amanda Handorff. Aniyah’s favorite school subject is reading. She enjoys playing soccer, boxing, and playing outside with her family and dog. 

Samira Gipson , who is a second-grader and the son of Harold and Stephanie Epps. Samira’s favorite school subjects are reading and math. She enjoys swimming, riding her bike, playing hide-and-seek, playing dodgeball, and playing with her dolls. 

Ke Moriah Jeter, who is a second-grader and the daughter of Jebresha Jeter. Ke Moriah’s favorite school subjects are social studies and math. She enjoys watching YouTube and playing with her dolls. 

Ramiro Ponce-Carbajal, who is a second-grader and the son of Maricela Carbajal. Ramiro's favorite school subject is reading. He enjoys playing soccer and running.

Alexandra Hernandez-Fausto, who is a third-grader and the daughter of Cindy Hernandez and Moises Hernandez. Alexandra’s favorite school subject is math. She enjoys playing soccer, dancing and singing at church, and spending time with her cousins. 

Caleb Mercer, who is a third-grader and the son of Chris and Lisha Mercer. Caleb’s favorite school subject is reading. He enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and football. He also loves to hunt with his dad.

Aamiyah Mitchell, who is a third-grader and the daughter of LaShawnda Lewis. Aamiya’s favorite school subject is reading. She enjoys coloring, reading her books, and playing on her recorder.

Lexi Parker, who is a third-grader and the daughter of Will and Somer Parker. Lexi’s favorite school subjects are math and writing. She enjoys playing softball, drawing, and spending time with her family and friends..

Brooklyn Reddell, who is a third-grader and the daughter of Brice and Janet Reddell. Brooklyn’s favorite school subject is math. She enjoys art, dance, and playing softball.
