October Star Students
Libby Elementary would like to recognize September’s Star Students! The students were chosen using the following criteria: attitude (the student tries to contribute to a positive atmosphere), accomplishments (the student is dedicated to achieving a personal goal), commitment (the student always tries his or her best to succeed), character (the student always presents himself/herself as a positive role model), effort (the student shares in the responsibility for making school a positive place), enthusiasm (the student is always supportive of others striving for success) and excellence (the student accepts no less).
October’s Star students include:
Mason Cader, who is a second-grader and the son of Cortney Gorham and Chance Gorham. Mason’s favorite school subject is math. He enjoys gaming, riding bikes, skateboarding, swimming, playing basketball and soccer, and playing with his little brother and baby sister.
Kinsley Dunn, who is a second-grader and the daughter of Kortlyn Dunn and JT Dunn. Kinsley's favorite school subject is math. She enjoys tumble and All-star cheer, twirling, playing basketball, and art.
Levi Harris, who is a second-grader and the son of Shaun and Kerrie Harris. Levi’s favorite school subject is math. He enjoys playing outside, hunting and fishing, and helping his brother and sister show pigs.
Muskan Ladiwala, who is a second-grader and the daughter of Tanveer and Bindira Ladiwala. Muskan's favorite school subject is english. She enjoys puzzles, coloring, playing outside, building blocks, playing with her iPad.
Kynlie Powers, who is a second-grader and the daughter of Michael and Shelby Powers. Kynlie’s favorite school subject is math. She enjoys playing catcher/left fielder for Panola Sox Softball, tumbling, camping, and playing with her puppy, Yankee.
Anastasia Washington, who is a second-grader and the daughter of Ann-Marie Charles and Tobias Washington. Anastasia's favorite school subject is math. She enjoys coloring and drawing, playing outside, watching TV, and sleeping. She also enjoys crafting and putting things together.
Ubaldo Escobedo, who is a third-grader and the son of Ubaldo and Maria Escobedo. Ubaldo's favorite school subject is math. He enjoys playing outside.
Marissa Farias, who is a third-grader and the daughter of Reynaldo Farias and Denice Farias. Marissa’s favorite school subject is science. She enjoys coloring, reading, and playing volleyball.
Zoey Jones, who is a third-grader and the daughter of Alice Brightwell. Zoey’s favorite school subject is reading. She enjoys hoverboarding, bicycle riding, painting, swimming, and watching TV.
Maddox Sparks, who is a third-grader and the son of Matt and Abby Sparks. Maddox's favorite school subject is math. He loves all sports - football, baseball, basketball, and soccer! He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends and going to the movies.
Janiya Wiliams, who is a third-grader and the daughter of Shenicka Payne and Jerry Williams. Janiya's favorite school subject is math. She enjoys doing gymnastics and dancing.
