**A few reminders as we welcome back students for the second semester... If you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last ten days OR have been in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 individual, please DO NOT return to school. Please first contact Dr. Porter at dporter@carthageisd.org or Amanda Deason at adeason@carthageisd.org. We will then let you know your return date. Please continue to monitor yourself for symptoms and DO NOT come to school if you have any of the following: Feeling feverish or have a temperature of 100.00 degrees or higher Loss of taste or smell Coughing Difficulty breathing/shortness of breath Nausea or vomiting Diarrhea Significant muscle pain or ache Congestion or runny nose Sore throat Headache Fatigue Chills Shaking or exaggerated shivering All students should continue to prescreen each day before coming to school and remain off-campus if they are experiencing any of the symptoms listed above.

Lady Dawgs will play in Center, Dec. 14. The games will start at 5:00 P.M.

Early Release Times for Tuesday & Wednesday

Center Vs. Carthage! Monday, December 14, 4:30 P.M. in the CJHS gym. Please practice social distancing and wear a mask to keep our students and community safe and healthy.

It's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas. Great performance! 7th and 8th grade Band students. 🎶

Carthage ISD will have an Early Release at 1:00 on Friday, December 11th.

The Christmas Band Concert will be on December 10 at 6:00 in the Performing Arts Center! Seventh grade students must be in their chairs ready to begin at 5:30 p.m. * Only 3 family members per band student may attend. * No one will be allowed in the PAC without a mask. *Families will social distance to keep our community safe and healthy. *Following the 7th grade performance, we will clear the auditorium. Once all 7th graders’ families have left the auditorium, 8th graders’ families will be allowed to enter.

Are you screening your child EVERY morning? If your child has a fever or is displaying any COVID-19 symptoms, please, notify the nurse and stay home.

Boys Basketball game will be in Palestine Dec. 7. The games will start at 5:00.

Girls Basketball game will be at the Carthage High School Dec. 7. The games will start at 4:30.
