Staci Davis

Hello My Name Is...

Staci Davis

Welcome to Libby Elementary School!

It is truly my pleasure to serve my sixth year as principal of Libby Elementary. Being a native Carthaginian, I am very passionate about OUR school and OUR community. What can I say – I LOVE being a BULLDOG!

After graduating from Carthage High School, I attended Panola College, The University of Texas, and The University of Texas at Tyler where I earned an Associate of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree respectively. I began my teaching career at Carthage Junior High School in 1993 where I taught both 7th and 8th grade students in English/Language Arts and Science for fifteen years. Although I loved being in the classroom, I made the decision to return to school to work on my Master’s Degree. I soon completed a Master of Education degree from The University of Texas at Tyler earning both principal and superintendent certifications. My administrative experience includes serving as Principal of CISD’s PACE Academy for one year and Assistant Principal at Carthage High School for three years.

I am married to Mark Davis who is an Ag Science teacher at Carthage High School, and we have three wonderful and very busy children – Keaton, Connor and Cammie Elizabeth. Keaton is a TAMU graduate and will begin her career as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. Connor is a junior at Carthage High School and Cammie Elizabeth is an 8th grader at Carthage Jr. High School. We love exhibiting livestock, raising Miniature Australian Shepherds, and going to the movies!

Libby Elementary School is committed to provide a safe, cheerful, and pleasant learning environment where innovative teaching and challenging programs provide not only prime learning opportunities but also foster a life-long desire for learning. I encourage you to join our parent organization and become active members of our learning community. Feel free to contact me if I can assist you in any way.
